Pictured above is the prototype Bf109E. It is powered by a Mega 22-30-2 geared 6:1 with 20xGP3300 NiMH cells turning an APCe 16x12 prop. The motor draws approximately 60A (depending on cell temp) for a power of approx 1.3kW. It is also very well suited to the AXI 4130-16 outrunner motor, on either 20 cells or 6S lipo cells, with 15x12 - 16x12 prop. For IC engine enthusiasts, a 61 2 stroke or 91 4 stroke would be ideal. The fuselage is very light, so tail heaviness won't be a problem. It is 100% true scale, the fuselage and cowl are detailed with panel lines and some rivet detail. They both come pre-primed so this detail will remain in the finished product. The prototype featured true scale slotted flap and aileron hinging, and parts to complete this will be available separately on request. It was designed with Robart 530 series (85 deg) or Springair retracts in mind (with oleo struts).
